WHAT IS SONGWRITERS IN PARADISE?

SONGWRITERS IN PARADISE is an exclusive boutique songwriters festival series created by accomplished Nashville singer, songwriter & artist Patrick Davis. Patrick’s dream was to bring his love for music, songwriting, travel, food, wine, cigars, cocktails, friends & unique one of a kind experiences together & the result is Songwriters In Paradise.

WHAT MAKES SIP DIFFERENT?

SIP believes that the real beauty in both songwriting & life is found in the intimate details that are often only recognized when we have the time & space to enjoy them. With small crowds, awe-inspiring locations, incredible wine partners & a unique closeness for both the performer & the listener SIP creates an opportunity for stories to be heard, new friends to be made and unforgettable memories to be had.

WHAT TO EXPECT AT SIP NAPA?

Each SIP NAPA show will include intimate acoustic “IN THE ROUND - Bluebird Cafe Style” songwriting & storytelling performances by the SIP NAPA songwriters. An “in the round” performance means that 3 - 4 of the SIP NAPA songwriters will be on stage together swapping songs, telling stories & trading anecdotes at each of the nightly events. Our SIP NAPA shows will also include wine selections from that evening’s winery paired with what we at SIP like to call heavy appetizers (not quite a sit down meal, but no one should leave hungry).

WHAT TIME DO “SHOWS” START?

All shows will begin at 6:30PM. Each show will last until approx. 3 Hours.

IS THERE FOOD?

YES, each “show” will have what we at SIP like to call heavy appetizers (not quite a sit down meal, but no one should leave hungry). The menu for each night is determined by each "shows” winery.

IS THERE WINE?

Yes, so much wine. Each winery (venue) will provide special wine selections on their respected evening. The wine each evening will be exceptional for everyone, but please note VIP pass holders will have an upgraded selection (special VIP ONLY wine bar).

IS SEATING AVAILABLE?

YES, seating will be available at each SIP NAPA “show”, but please note ONLY VIP pass holders will have nightly reserved seating.

IS THERE TRANSPORTATION?

YES, nightly shuttles will run from HARVEST INN.. Shuttles will run each night from approximately 6:00PM until completion of that evening’s show. All SIP NAPA pass holders have access to SIP NAPA shuttles, but we definitely advise folks to stay at Harvest Inn for the ease of shuttle access.

WHO ARE THE SIP NAPA SONGWRITERS?

THE SIP NAPA songwriters are some of the most accomplished & talented singer songwriters in the world. The SIP Family of Songwriters are all hand selected by SIP Founder Patrick Davis & are chosen not only for their incredible musical talents, but also because of their kindness, wit, humor & ability to communicate with others, which are all vital aspects of any Songwriters In Paradise.

ARE THE NIGHTLY LINE UPS THE SAME?

NO, each night of SIP NAPA will have different combinations of SIP songwriters performing. In fact each night will offer 2 completely different “hour long songwriter rounds” (essentially an early round & a late round) featuring 3 - 4 performers on stage together swapping songs, stories & anecdotes. Ideally each SIP songwriter will perform during 2 of the 4 SIP NAPA nights although this can fluctuate up or down depending on our songwriters’ tour schedules & nightly wine consumption :). The goal is to make it so every night of SIP NAPA is a unique & interesting experience for both the attendees in the audience and the songwriters on the stage.

HOW ARE THE WINERIES CHOSEN FOR SIP NAPA?

Each of the SIP NAPA wineries have come on board thanks to direct relationships between SIP founder Patrick Davis & his friends in the Napa, Yountville, Oakville & St. Helena area (including Patrick’s old friends David Duncan of Silver Oak and Jeff Gargiulo of Gargiulo Vineyards) . Each of the SIP NAPA wineries love not only great wine, but also great music, which is of course key to any SIP partner.

HOW MANY TOTAL PASSES ARE THERE?

SIP festivals are always small exclusive events & SIP NAPA is no different. There are only 150 attendees allowed at each show (Wed - Saturday), which means only 150 lucky attendees will be able to enjoy the experience that is SIP NAPA.

WHAT DOES THE VIP PASS INCLUDE?

VIP Passes include a very Special VIP & SIP SONGWRITER ONLY wine and music dinner on TUESDAY evening at one of NAPA Valley’s most prestigious & beautiful wineries (only announced to VIP pass holders), reserved VIP seating at our Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday shows along with VIP ONLY wine bars at each event. VIP pass holders also receive all of the SIP NAPA merchandise & more. Extremely LIMITED Availability. ARE ALL SALES FINAL?

YES, ALL SALES ARE FINAL! NO REFUNDS GIVEN.

WHERE TO STAY?

SIP NAPA’s Official Hotel Partner is Harvest Inn in St. Helena. This is where all of the SIP Songwriters stay and the place YOU want to be in order to get the full SIP NAPA experience. Harvest Inn is a beautiful property with a great restaurant and a bar that has become legendary thanks to our late night SIP NAPA after parties at the bar and on the front porch.
